It's solid, I like the way it is redrawn differently from the homepage. I would say fix the nav bar in those to make it more like film. That reel looks awesome though
I would recommend you change the background from blue on the home page. I like how you made your navigation on a film reel. But the background color seems to clash with the grey film reel in my opinion
I like the demo reel on the front page but I agree that it needs to be tweaked a little. On the edges in some places it looks very pixelated. On the second page I liked the navigation bar.
The concept is alright, but it would be much more interesting if you used actual photographs of a reel, etc, and then spent some time adding text onto the surface in a realistic manner.
It's solid in its design, but looks impersonal, and you ARE selling yourself. I would make your design slightly more personal by adding some flashy fonts or more of a connection between you and your skills (you holding a camera, etc.).
I like the use of the film reel as a navigation bar. I know it's early, but as others have mentioned, make sure that you're selling yourself. Make sure to get more of yourself on the site.

I really like the idea for the website, the only thing I had a hard time with was reading the font. I'm not sure if that's just the projector or not.
